What do I mean?
Well are you just looking for seashell bath accessories? Do you want to take an old bathroom and update it with a seashell bath design? Are you planning on doing the work yourself if you are updating?
These are all very valid questions and ones you should have the answers to before you start decorating your seashell bathroom.
When I decided that I wanted to have a seashell bathroom I ended up modernizing my bathroom in the process.
I’m talking new tile and counters, fresh paint, and of course the seashell bath accessories. I also decided that I wanted to do it my self.
It was in a way harder then I thought it would be to remodel my bathroom and also easier to do.
If you are remodeling your bathroom and you have decided to go with a seashell bathroom theme make sure that the materials you use complement what you are after.
A great way to get your colors is to look at nature. Look at the things associated with seashells from the sand to dark rocks, even the greens of the plants and the colors of the ocean. This will insure that you get colors that compliment each other and that your bathroom looks how you want it to when you are finished.
And of course, choose accessories that mesh well.
After you are done with the major work comes the fun part. You get to decorate your new bathroom with the seashell bath accessories.
Don’t forget to get some live plants to really make your bathroom a relaxing retreat.
If you have never redesigned a bathroom before and are planning on doing it yourself I would recommend that you check out this book – Better Bath Design. It will really help you if you have never designed a bathroom before.
