Seashell bath rugs not only make your seashell bathroom feel more complete but they are also a great way to stay safe.  To avoid taking a serious spill it is always best to make sure you stand on something when you are getting out of the tub or shower.

One thing you should look for when you are looking into getting  seashell bath rugs is how soft they will feel on your feet.

If they are made out of a ruff texture you are going to be hard pressed to stand on it when you get out of the shower, as will anyone else.

You also need to look into how durable the seashell bath rug is going to be.

Will it clean up well?

As with anything else that you put in your bathroom the ease of being able to clean it should be a consideration.

One way to clean seashell bath rugs without being able to put them in the washer is to either hang them up to dry and then put the waterless soap on them and vacuum them up or stick them out in the sun on a hot day to help kill the bacteria.

Seashell bath accessories are a wonderful way to really make your bathroom stand out.  Not only is it fun to redecorate your bathroom but it can give you a much needed retreat if done correctly.

What should you look for when you are buying seashell bath accessories?

The first thing you should look for is the kind of feel you want your bathroom to have.  Are you looking for calm and relaxing or fun and exciting?

Are you going to paint your walls?

Switch around your floor?

Are  you just looking to add seashell bath accessories to your already existing bathroom?

These are all very good questions you should be asking yourself.

Once you have those answered then comes the fun part!  Decorating your  bathroom with the perfect seashell  bath accessories.

When buying your seashell bath accessories you want to look for accessories that are sturdy enough to last for a while without breaking and if you have little kids around it is good if you can find some that will bounce.

Another thing to keep in mind when buying seashell bath accessories is whether or not you can get coordinating pieces.  If every accessory that you buy is a free standing piece then you might have a hard time pulling it all together.

When you are thinking about adding plants to your seashell decor it is best to look for tropical plants.  Because the bathroom tends to get very humid when used it is best to have plants that thrive in humid weather.  Ferns are a good choice for the bathroom but you do not have to stop there.

Most tropical plants will thrive in your bathroom and there are an abundance of plants to choose from.  You can have just green leafy plants or even plants that flower profusely.

Another thing to look for when you add plants to your seashell bath is if you have a lot of sunlight or just a little.

Whether you are looking to completely remodel your bathroom or just add a few seashell bath accessories to your existing bath decor you can not go wrong with seashell bath towels.

What you need to remember when you buy seashell bath towels

When you are looking to buy your seashell bath towels you need to remember that they need to be functional as well as nice looking.

It does you no good to buy seashell bath towels that look nice but are thin and scratchy.

If you are just starting your seashell bath decorating make sure your towels are going to match your existing decor.  I myself am guilty of doing this.  I see something that I love and impulsively buy it.  The problem then becomes when I put it where it goes it does not look so nice because it clashes with the rest of the decor in the room.

If you are just adding seashell bath towels to your bathroom make sure you go with a neutral color so that it will match the other decorations in your bathroom including the color of the walls.

You should also consider whether or not you can get coordinating pieces to go with the towels if you so choose.

Sometimes the perfect seashell bath towels are not so perfect anymore if you can not find anything else to go with it.

Seashell Bath Sets

When looking to redo your bathroom in a seashell bath decor it is always a good idea to look for seashell bath sets.  Especially if you are not very interior decorating inclined.

That being said, it is not always the best to buy a seashell bath set because you might not get exactly what you are looking for.

When you buy seashell bath sets you are at the mercy of the company that put them together and I usually find that where as I really like a few things in the set, there are definitely some pieces that I could do without.

In that aspect it does not save you any money because then you still have to go out and find the complimenting pieces that you like.

When I was redoing my bathroom in a seashell bath decor I came across very few seashell bath sets and none of them were all inclusive.
